It’s not easy to forget things specifically when it brought happiness or pain to someone’s life. Events which made you exceptionally happy is hard to forget. You always enjoy looking back that experience. It is often called sweet memories.
Meanwhile, painful memories however you try to put out of your mind kept emerging as well particularly when instances replicate the same or almost the same incident. These are memories you want to absolutely forget about.
But how does one really handle these two kinds of memories? How does one can ever set aside those unhappy moments from happy moments?
I have learned that if there are two kinds of memories, there are also two ways of handling these memories depending what type of an individual you are.
First,is the deep thinker. The tendency of this deep thinker is that the effect of an incident takes quite a long time before it sinks in to his brain what kind of an experience he was encountering. A reaction is very much delayed so the effect as expected will take a longer time. And this kind of individual suffers so much because of this peculiarities.
The other type is the happy-go-lucky. This type of individual is not a thinker. This individual has a tendency of acting without thinking (the outcome and the consequences). He is easily influenced by people around him. He thinks carelessly. He acts through his perplexing behaviors (and most of the time even he himself cannot explain). This kind of individual usually has an impulsive and weak character. The tendency of this individual upon realizing his wrong-doings is that he easily forgets (especially the sufferings he brings). He is a one kind that one might say does not use his logic (wisely at all.)
Now,which type do you fall into?
